Chandigarh: It was a moment of the auspicious start of the new academic session of Spring Dale Senior School, Amritsar with a ‘Hawan' organized in the school premises.
The staff and students attended the Hawan with great fervour. In keeping with the philanthropic legacy of the school, Langar was distributed among the inmates of various charitable institutions, including the Pingalwara, Lepers' home, Mother Teresa's home, and Citizen Forum Vidya Mandir School, Maqboolpura, by the staff and students.
Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Chairman, Spring Dale Educational Society, and Dr. Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Educational Society, conveyed their well wishes to the Spring Dale family for the beginning of a successful new session.
