Spring Dale shines bright with outstanding CBSE results

Chandigarh : The Management, Principal, and the faculty members of Amritsar-based Spring Dale Senior School rejoiced the moment when the CBSE results of Grade X  and XII were announced on Tuesday, bringing laurels to the school.

While the signature celebrations, sweets, and Dhol beats were absent due to the ongoing conditions of the alert, the students and teachers congratulated and cheered each other through telephonic conversation.

Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School informed that in grade X results Ganat Kaur secured the first position in the school by securing 99.6 % marks, second position in the school was shared by Rabaab Grover & Divyesh Singh with  99.4 % marks whereas third position was secured by Ruhani Kaur Bhatia with 99.2% marks.

He said that a total of 495 students appeared for the class X exam, and it was a 100% result for the school. 

Out of the total students appearing for the exam, 86  students scored 95% and above in aggregate, whereas 202 students scored 90% and above. A total of 88 students scored 100 marks in various subjects.

 He said that the CWSN (Children With Special Needs) also appeared in the examination of  Grade X and they all came up with flying colours, out of these students, Mannatdeep Singh topped the list with 90.6% marks.

He informed that Grade XII student  Jaspreet Kaur, a Commerce student, topped with 98.6 percent in the aggregate. Twenty-one students of the school scored marks above 95 percent in the aggregate, creating an unprecedented wave. 

Jaspreet Kaur from Commerce with 98.6% marks was the school topper and also the topper in Commerce stream. Abhayjeet Singh topped in Humanities stream by scoring 98% marks, Japneet Singh was the topper in Non-Medical stream with 97.2% marks and Navreen Kaur is the topper in the Medical stream with 92.6% marks. 

Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Chairman, Spring Dale Educational Society, and Dr. Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Educational Society expressed their joy while sharing that 38 students scored 100% marks in various subjects. 

Another feather in the cap was in the form of the outstanding result of CWSN, with Yuvraj topping the list with as high as 96 percent marks. 

“School was closed due to government orders; therefore students and teachers could not assemble on the campus. However, congratulatory phone calls kept everyone in celebratory mode,” said Sahiljit.
