Chandigarh: Amandeep Group of Hospitals has entered into a strategic partnership with Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals to expand access to quality and affordable healthcare across North India, informed renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Avtar Singh, who will be leading the Orthopaedics Centre of Excellence for the combined entity.

As part of the agreement, Ujala Cygnus will acquire a significant stake in Amandeep Hospitals, marking its entry into Punjab with five new multi-super-specialty hospitals and over 800 additional beds.
With the addition of hospitals in Amritsar, Pathankot, Firozpur, and Srinagar, Ujala Cygnus’ hospital count grows from 22 to 28, and total bed strength to nearly 2,800, solidifying its leadership in Jammu & Kashmir and expanding its footprint into Punjab, he informed
