Amritsar : It remained a time for the Spring Dale students and teachers to warm up and get acquainted with the latest trends in the career options and more importantly an ever evolving process of decision making and life choices, when the school organized an Interactive Programme titled "Courage To Choose", held at hotel Taj Swarna here on Saturday.
Giving details , Sahiljit Singh Sandhu,Chairman,Spring Dale Educational Society said that the programme was conducted by Ganesh Kohli.
Kohli is a passionate educationist, counsellor and the founder of IC3 movement (International Career and College Counselling Movement) who founded and nurtured many educational institutions across the globe.
"Through this training programme the teachers were oriented towards transforming the school into a counselling laboratory through the curricular and co-curricular program, taking it beyond formal and occasional counselling sessions", said Sahiljit.
In his message for the occasion,the school Principal Rajiv Kumar Sharma said that the modern day teaching is about looking beyond the text-book knowledge and hence it calls for including the counseling as an integral part of the day today teaching-learning practices to ensure an overall well being of the children and to develop them into well informed and aware citizens.
